going to watch 'scanners' some time over the weekend...never seen the film but have just got the poster through the post. Have just started to collect the poster first and then discover the film....... talking about films from the 50s throught to the 80s.

top Cronenberg of all time:(in my opinion)

Shivers is such a great movie! I think my favourite scene is where the girl (I can't remember her name--it's been awhile since I've seen it) is telling her recently sex-crazed boyfriend-turned-zombie an excuse as to why she has to flee from him in the bedroom. She says something like, "my contacts! I have to take out my contacs!" and then she goes to the bathroom TO DEAL WITH HER CONTACTS. Lordy loo, hilarious.

Eastern Promises is also fantastic.

Park Chan Wook is my favourite director of all time. I made this film in a similar style to his and actually took it to Cannes to have it shown at the Short Film Corner 2009:

It is a violent but stylish look at a vigilante in London. I hope you like it please comment and rate!

It's tough to break it down to just one, because like Ice Cream I enjoy many flavors and it really depends on what kind of mood I'm in at the moment.    :popcornshare:

Abel Ferrara (Bad Lieutenant, The Funeral) is one of mine. He's made a few bad films, but his best ones make up for it.
