i think that the best of the year is TinTin or Source Code but i'm still waiting Real Steel.

I Think Drive was the best movie of the year or Melancholia. X-men was also good.

Overall quite bad year for the movies, which shows on the Oscar nominations. Or am i alone with this?

The Artist was amazing... I just watched it for the second time. I also loved the new Muppets movie, having loved the show and the old movies.

The Artist, by far.
so heartfelt yet not corny.
so intellectual/existentialist yet unpretentious.
it's both a parody and homage to cinema's rise.
prefect pacing...just beautiful.
i've seen it sixteen times in theatre!
so much symbolism not too many got, so it has a good sense of subtly about it as well.
