Just to my curiosity, is anyone here interested in Janpanese cartoons? After all, other than US, japan is a huge cartoon exporter.

Japanese cartoon... Astro Boy i think. That's all i watched when i was a kid.

But i enjoyed anime. Dropped interest after the episodes were just the same being repeated over and over again.
I could see almost the same thing repeating every 10-20 episodes.

I watched and enjoyed Bleach (which i saw more than 200 episodes), One Piece and Naruto.

Yeah, I'm a big fan of CLAMP's work like Cardcaptor Sakura, Clover, xxxHolic and Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles.
And I love a series called NANA, broke my heart when I read all of it and heard it was postponed on such a huge cliffhanger and the artist doesn't want to continue it.

I get into some Japanese cartoons. I think Akira is a Japanese cartoon movie. Such a good movie. Hayao Miyazaki is a japanese manga director that you should check out. He did Ponyo, Howl's moving castle and so on. Good stuff. ;)

Couldn't do anything else as they were showing stuff like Goldorak and Albator on TV when I was a kid. I grew up watching those. Now that I'm old, I still love asian anime. My favorite ones are:
GHOST IN THE SHELL
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0113568/
SERIAL EXPERIMENT LAIN
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0500092/
BLACK LAGOON
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0962826/
& DIVERGENCE EVE.

Still watching them everyday.

But then, there's Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell, and a whole lot of action-packed Japanese anime for fanboys like me.
