I'll end up this Coppola serial with Godfather 2 (1974) . Beside Al Pacino , Robert Duvall , Diane Keaton...we have Robert De Niro , as young Corleone . Movie won 6 Oscars : Best Picture , Best Director , Best Actor in a Supporting Role ( Robert De Niro ) , Best Art Direction , Best Music and Best Adapted Screenplay .  :popcorn99:
You know the story  :mafia:

I'm back , my friends , had some problems with my PC , but now , everything is fixed . So ... :Munching:
Today we have Roland Joffe's (1985) , Killing Fields , with Sam Waterson , John Malkovich , Julian Sands , Haing S.Ngor
New York Times correspondent has covered the civil war in Cambodia for several years .
The key to his success is the invaluable help of a local interpreter and journalist Dith Pran .
When foreigners are evacuated after the Khmer Rouge comes to power , Sydney ( Sam Waterson ) is forced out of the country , but Pran ( Haing S.Ngor ) must remain behind to face the terrors of that regime...
Powerful movie , one of the best . Joffe is sensational director . Go for it , guys .  :popcorn99:

And now Lady's and Gent's something special ... :popcorn99:

Billy Wilder's , (1950)...Sunset Blvd ...

Joe Gillis (William Holden) is unsuccessful scriptwriter . While evading car repossession agents , he drives into a private garage on Sunset Blvd . He finds that the house is inhabited by faded silent movie star Norma Desmond (Gloria Swanson) and her butler Max (Erich von Stroheim) .
Since Joe is broke , it's easy for Norma to convince him to read the script she has been writing for her "comeback".
Joe becomes totally financially dependent on Norma....
You have to watch the rest .
This is really one of the best film ever .
I love this movie . Just look down on my signature... :watchmovie:

Another one from me Get Carter Michael Caine's best ever role; a great supporting cast of characters; gritty location shooting; endlessly quotable dialogue; great theme tune; wonderful downbeat ending; just gets better and better with age.
