I would be most gratious for any help. I have searched the web in vain.
There is romantic movie where the couple promise to meet each other (in heaven?).
When they come down to  earth the meet each other.
Something goes wrong, and then they forget they were together.
The end of the movie they are on a busy street, and they pass near each other and stop, like they have a bit of deja vu, but continue going anyway.
The movie deals with the idea of destinty and fate. It is rather dark.
Movie was possibly late 80's but probably early 90's.
Any suggestions? Thank you so much.
