I really don't know how I feel about this movie. The general feeling amongst the Canyoneering (the activity that Aron was participating in) community is that his story is one of caution, an example of what not to do, instead of a tale for glory.

Just judging from the trailer there are many misrepresentations. I have always listened to people who complain about how bad hollywood slaughters true stories. It never really bothered me until they make one that hits really close to home. The problem this time is how many people the movie will put at risk. When he originally amputated his own arm, the amount of people who had to be rescued from the canyon tripled. Only until recently did it return to normal. Now with this movie coming out and the false scenarios it portrays will more than triple the amount of problems this time.

I am sure it will make for an interesting movie but it won't have any responsibility for its misrepresentations or the problems they create.
